Later this year, we are delighted to be speaking at the 5th International Conference on Cloud and Big Data Computing (ICCBDC 2021) at the University of Liverpool.
ICCBDC 2021 is going to be held between 20 – 22 August, hopefully in-person, and if not, then online, depending on the state of the pandemic and vaccine rollout in the UK.
Our big data expert and academic collaborator, Dr Huseyin Seker, will be speaking and pre-senting a paper at ICCBDC 2021. We are also the only commercial partner supporting it, alongside three co-sponsor universities: Liverpool, Oxford Brookes, and Staffordshire Uni-versity.
ICCBDC has been going since 2017, being hosted at a different university every year. So far, it’s been held at the University of Northumbria London Campus, Barcelona, St Anne’s College, Oxford, and this year, at the University of Liverpool.
As a fairly new, award-winning and fast-growing AI startup, we are keen to work with the ac-ademic community. We want to share our knowledge and expertise. And equally, we want to hear from those across the academic spectrum, from other big data, AI and machine learning experts, to seek out new ways of working, new approaches and ideas.
The aim of the ICCBDC “is to establish an international forum for engineers and scientists to present their ideas and experiences in the fields of Cloud and Big Data Computing.”
Before the conference in August, Dr Seker will submit a paper, which will included in the IC-CBDC 2021 Conference Proceedings, which will also be indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus, and submitted to be reviewed by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI Web of Science). The paper will be submitted before April 10, and then the deadline for those looking to attend is May 20, with the conference taking part on August 20 – 22. We look forward to seeing other academics and businesses either in Liverpool, or online, on those dates!
“I am looking forward to presenting a paper and speaking at the 5th International Conference on Cloud and Big Data Computing (ICCBDC 2021) at the University of Liverpool, in August, on behalf of Bubo.AI.”
Dr Huseyin Seker, Bubo.AI’s Academic Collaborator, goes onto say: “In 2020, we presented at and attended quite a few conferences and expos, in the UK and beyond. And although no one knows whether this years events will be in-person or virtual, we have a busy year of confer-ences and events ahead. My talk at ICCBDC 2021 will focus on the impact of AI on pricing strategies, based on the theories behind Bubo.AI, alongside real-world case studies and ex-amples.”
“As the world starts to recover from the impact of Covid-19, academic conferences, such as ICCBDC 2021, and collaborations and projects that originate from them could spark a boom in innovation. Pricing is one area that will make a huge positive impact on business profitability, which is why we are showcasing our expertise and solutions at conferences around the UK and world,” Dr Seker said.
