Our team is going to be pretty busy during August 25-27, 2021, as we will also be attending and co-chairing the 2nd International Conference on Education and Artificial Intelligence Technologies (EAIT).
At the same time as the EAIT is taking place, so is the ICAAI 2021. Fortunately, both AI con-ferences are being hosted at the same university, the QAHE at Northumbria University Lon-don Campus.
Bubo.AI is also co-organizing and therefore co-charing this conference too, and it’s an honour to present a paper and play such a role in the vibrant academic community focusing on AI re-search and practical applications.
EAIT is described as “the premier forum that brings both industry and academia for the dis-semination of technological advances and research results in the fields of Artificial Intelli-gence Methods and Technologies as an aid to education at all levels.”
Although at the moment, it’s not known whether this “valuable opportunity for researchers, scholars and scientists to exchange their ideas” can happen face-to-face, or virtually.
Given the uncertainty around the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, conference organisers have already said that presentations can be delivered online, using video calling platforms and apps. Attendees should also be able to login from anywhere and take part virtually, alt-hough we expect clarity on how that can happen closer to the date.
Before the conference in August, Dr Seker will submit a paper, which will included in the EAIT 2021 Conference Proceedings, which will also be indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus, and submitted to be reviewed by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI Web of Science).
Contributors of papers also have the option to have their paper submitted to and published in a special issue of the “International Journal of Information and Education Technology”, with ISSN: 2010-3689, indexed by Scopus (Since 2019), EI(INSPEC, IET), Electronic Journals Li-brary, Google Scholar, Crossref, and others.
As this conference is about the impact of AI in education, Dr Seker’s presentation and talk will focus on that topic, bringing in different examples than those used in other talks that will be given this year.
“We are looking forward to seeing everyone with an active interest in using AI to improve and enhance various aspects of education at the conference in August 2021,” said Dr Huseyin Seker, Bubo.AI’s Academic Collaborator.
Dr Seker, goes onto say: “In 2020, we presented at and attended quite a few conferences and expos, in the UK and beyond. This year, we’ve got an even busier roster of events and confer-ences to attend and present at, and are delighted to be co-sponsoring and partnering with the academic organisers.”
“AI has enormous real-world uses and implications, and education is one sector that would benefit from as much support and new approaches as possible, such as using AI in more in-novative ways, to help the world recover from this devastating pandemic and recession.”
“As the world and economy starts a slow recovery from the impact of Covid-19, academic conferences, such as EAIT 2021 at Northumbria University London Campus, and collabora-tions and projects that originate from them could spark a boom in innovation”, Dr Seker said.
